1. Be the Legal Age, which is 18 or older

Everyone who joins Requiem Must Be the Legal Age, which is 18. Being Under the Legal Age will get you automatically removed from the Library. To be a member of Requiem it is Required that you're the Legal Age, no questions.

If You're Found Out..
--If you're found out (or come forward) that you're under the age of 18 your account will be revoked and you won't be able to return until you're the legal age to be a member here. To which you can get an appeal with the Librarians to reinstate your account.

If you're under suspicion of being underage..
--If You're Suspected being underage, the Librarians will message you and ask for an Age Verification. Refusal or Attitude will result in getting your account revoked. Sorry but this is to insure the safety of not only the members and staff but for the site as well. Age Verification is volunteer only unless you're suspected of being an underage member.

If you're found out that you knew someone was underage and didn't report it...
--If you didn't report that you knew someone was underage, yourself and the underaged member will be removed from Requiem. You will have no chance of an appeal for harboring an underage member.

Being underage and/or harboring an underage member will result in removal from the Library.

2. Sexual and Violent Acts with...

Underage Characters- is defined as Pedophilia, which means, Sexual acts committed by an individual under the age of 18, either physically or mentally.

--Because we require our members to be the legal age, we ask that our members write characters that are both mentally and physically the age of 18+, meaning they can't be 300 years old and look as if they're 17, they must appear 18. If they're not both mentally and physically 18 you MAY NOT have a roleplay with the character.

--If your character experiences any kind of trauma while they're underage, and you want to you may provide a brief backstory, not detailed.

*We get that some members want to write characters having children, that is allowed, HOWEVER.. for this to be acceptable the one of the following MUST happen...​

-None in pm (breaking this will result in a warning or straight ban).

-No smut in the story at all, meaning the story must be placed in the Light section of the shelves and if any sexy fun time happens must fade to black.

-If smut is a must then the child/children must not be main focus in the story, meaning they're only mentioned and visiting grandma or a relative.

Animals -is Beastiality and it's Definition is Sexual acts committed with an animal that has an animal mind.

--If it has the mental capacity of a human that is above the age of consent, even if it is in a non-human physical form, you may RP sexual acts with that character.

-Werewolves are acceptable.
-Khajiits.. Argonians (Beast races from Elder Scrolls and/or other games) are acceptable.
--Cats, dogs and anything else that falls in the category as pet, farm or a zoo animal is NOT acceptable.

We love Animals too but not as sexual play things, animals are for petting not sex or abuse.

Necrophilia- defined as sexual intercourse with or an attraction towards corpses. Dead things can't say yes.

--Living Corpses such as Vampires, Mummies, Zombies in that fashion are acceptable, if they function as a normal human ie having their own thoughts.. If in doubt ASK.

Material that involves underage, animals or dead things being in the acts of a sexual nature will result in removal from the Library.

3. Harassing, Bullying and Trolling.

-Harassing is subject to aggressive pressure or intimidation, commonly understood as behavior that disturbs or upsets, and it is characteristically repetitive. In the legal sense, it is behavior that appears to be disturbing or threatening.
--Harassing is also continuously asking someone for something after they have expressed that they do not want to. After they have said No and you persist it's harassing. Respect their wishes and move on.

-Bullying is using superior strength or influence to intimidate (someone), typically to force them to do what one wants.

-Trolling is making a deliberately offensive or provocative online post with the aim of upsetting someone or eliciting an angry response from them.
--Don't Poke the Bear on purpose. Keep political, religious and other topics that can cause heated, triggered and passionate opinions out of the Library.

Harassing and bullying of any kind will result in removal from the Library. Trolling will result in an warning, if behavior continues it will be a removal from the Library.

4. Accounts and Misc..

-Double Accounts-
Are not permitted. This forum isn't a multiple account service or for multiple characters, one account per member.

--If you have more than one member in the household that wants to join, message an Librarian so we are made aware.
--If you're found of having more than one account, you'll be messaged to pick one account and the others will be merged.

-Spamming on walls and in private messaging for Roleplays and/or other material.

This is constantly messaging the member in a spam like manner "Do you want to rp?" The answer is Yes otherwise why would they be here? Check their request threads or on the profile to see if they're looking for partners.

Double Accounts and Spamming will result in an issued warning, continued actions will result in a temp removal with a chance of an appeal, if appeal is granted and actions continue it will result in removal from the Library.

5. Things that go Offsite...

-While we don't mind finding stories in other "Libraries", it is discouraged. (platforms like email, discord, Skype, Facebook...)​

If Something Happens off of Requiem, Requiem will not, can not and won't be held responsible, for one we cannot monitor and two it is out of our domain. So while we don't mind it, it is more for your safety than anything.

-Personal Information
VENTURE AT YOUR OWN RISK and Proceed with Caution with whom you give your information too. If something happens off site Requiem is not responsible.
--If you do give your information out do so privately, anything posted in public view will be removed by an Librarian or Book Keeper and you will be sent a private message.
--Again... be cautious of who you release your information to, be smart and be safe.

6. No Porngrahic Material this includes Images, Links, GIFs.

7. Library's Images Rules

-Nudity is allowed so long as it is done in a tasteful and artistic manner. We are NOT a pornography site, so we kindly ask that no sexual acts be used in any image that you may post this includes linking to them.
*If you have questions... ask

-No selfies should be posted as an avatar. This is for safety purposes.

-Photos and gifs in your signatures
--Are allowable, however they should not overly stretch the pages, if more than one image.gif is presented place the rest into a spoiler
--Should not have any sexual acts or full viewing genitalia. If in doubt please ask a staff member.

-No images of children or what could be questioned as a child are allowable in the Library.

Library’s Warning System:​

-First Warning Private Message- You'll be warned and asked to remove the content

-Second Warning Private Message- Aside from a Warning, your content will be removed by staff and a possible 48 hour ban

-Final Warning Private Message- Let's hope it doesn't get this far...

*After you received an Final Warning the next step is site removal if the behavior continues, depending on the situation and matters that take place an appeal will be decided by the Librarians.
